Metamorphosis

In this drawing, we had to draw and object and create it into another object. I used an animal, a panda bear and turned it into a rocking chair. In my room I have this poster with a panda bear just causally eating and while looking at it, I realized it could look like a rocking chair. So I morphed a panda bear into a rocking chair all through drawing it out. The elements of design I used was line, value, texture, and form. The principles of design I used were balance to make sure that the panda bear was going in steps to become a rocking chair.

Color Wheel - Turtle

In this painting, we had to show the color wheel in a interesting way. I decided to show the color wheel using a sea turtle's shell. I began with red and went all the way to red-violet. The elements of design I used were; color, shape/form, line to make it look like the turtle was moving, texture by showing the turtle has spots, and space. The principles of design that are being used is emphasis to show that the main focus in the turtle shell with it's bright colors.

Swan Rendering

In this rendering I choose a that I feel represents who I am; a swan. The picture was taken in Maui, Hawaii and it was just gracefully gliding on the water. The elements of design I used shape to represent the form and shape of the swan, value; to show that the swan is the main focus and that it lights up the rendering, and line to show movement of the water. The principle of design, I used movement to show that the swan is gliding in the water and emphasis to show that the swan is the center of attention in this rendering.
