Persistence of Time - Salvador Dalí

This project we worked outside in groups. This is all done in chalk. The drawing is Persistence of Time, by Salvador Dalí. In the drawing there is color, lines, and shaping of the clocks melting.

Artist Trading Cards

On this Artist Trading Card, I used mix media. I used acrylic and took things from magazines. With the paint I used lines only, just to make it look simple, just for a background. The main focus or emphasis should be on the golden hand cut out and the words. 

This Artist Trading Card is done with cut outs from different maganzies and I took words that stood out to me. The words I picked in away represent me. The word Laugh, means I like to have fun: Exquisite, in some of my art I like to make things right and make sure it will turn on beautiful: Story, I enjoy writing stories and making them up; and Cottage, the word sounded nice to me.

Zoo Project - Snake

This project, the San Francisco Zoo came and brought a few of their animals. One of the animals they brought was an anaconda. This anaconda is named How. I decided to feature the anatomy of the snake into my design. I made the head of the snake the skull, and the rest I did it's pattern. The snake has line, color, and texture. 

Corporate Identity

What you see is my future logo for a business; Eco Interior. As you can see my logo, I've also created by business card and a few prototype items. The logo has color, shape and lines and I've taken the logo and added to the items below.

Logo - Eco Interior

My logo is representing a business for the future. Eco Interior will be a furniture design company that will create eco-friendly furniture. The media that I used to create this logo was all done on the computer, using the app, Sketchbook. In the logo you see color, line and shape. I wanted to put my major into the business because I want to major in Interior Design, but also to find ways to make furniture eco-friendly.

Memory Book - Design

The painting below, I was inspired by the fact that I really love design and color. The elements that you see are lines, shapes, and color. Principles of design used were movement in the letters, I wanted to show that letters when placed can create movement and balance of colors, I did not want same colors to touch with corners; I wanted the colors to feel spread out.

The Pictures below were taken while I was in the Galapagos. The pictures right below were taken on the South Plaza. I wanted to capture the beauty of the Galapagos and all the amazing animals that live in the Galapagos and on the different islands.
