Hair Dryer Wire

Using one consecutive line with wire, I created a hair dryer. This was to help and make us to working with wire because this helped us with another project in which we used wire.

Frog and Beetle Drawing

These drawings are more of my contour drawings. I use line quality to show the shadows of the animals and where the sun reflects, the line quality becomes thiner. Both of these drawings, were drawn free hand in pencil at first, then with tracing and marker paper, I went over and traced them.

Tracing Combination

This drawing, we got to trace the objects and create something with them. I choose a bird, a spiky wheel, and a hammer. My composition is designed as a bird is sitting on the wheel, and a hammer is attached to the wheel. I enjoyed this drawing because I got to get creative and use my imagination.

Mouse Tails

These computer mouse, now have tails. This was a fun project. This project involved looking at animals with different line types. The line types we had to use were, scribbly, broken/interrupted, squiggly/wiggly, jagged, whimsical, and wavy. I did a variation of those lines as you can see in my drawings.

Shell Contour

Here are contour drawings of the same shell, but at different views. The top shell, I think is the best out of the five different views I drew. Once again, I could only put detail that was important and that was needed to get my point across that this drawing is a shell.

Lamp Contour

These drawings are similar to the contour drawings of the shoes, but instead these are lamps. I had to look at a lamp, and look at it five different ways. It was a challenge because my brain is trained to sketch, and getting clean, sharp lines across was a bit difficult. Overall, I think these contour drawings turned out pretty good.

Contour Drawings Shoes

These drawings are contour drawings of a shoe. The assignment was to not sketch, but just draw contour lines, as well as add any detail that might be important to know what the object is. One can see the elements of design: line, shape, form, and texture.
